- Arsenal are back in the UEFA Champions League after eight seasons away

Arsenal are back among the big boys, as their fans have been saying since they finished second in the Premier League last season and qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
It's the Gunners' first appearance in eight seasons after their 10-2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich in the round of 16 in 2016. They've appeared in the Europa League a couple of times after that, reaching the final in 2019.
Arsenal led the Premier League table for 35 game weeks last year before a late capitulation ensured their wait for a title extends more than 19 years since their invincibles in 2004.
As reported by Daily Star, they have been drawn in Group B with PSV Eindhoven (their Europa League group mates last year), RC Lens and Europa champions Sevilla.
Arsenal face difficult October
The Gunners will begin their Champions League campaign against Dutch opposition PSV Eindhoven on September 20 as the Emirates Stadium welcomes the prestigious anthem for the first time since 2016.
The major headache for Mikel Arteta will come in October when the team will start the month with a trip to France for matchday two against Lens. Then, have players touring the world for the international break.
On either side of the break is a home game against champions Manchester City and a small trip across London to Stamford Bridge to play rivals Chelsea before another away trip to Spain to play Sevilla.
Arteta's men will end the month with a visit of newly promoted Sheffield United and start November with a trip to Saint James Park to play Newcastle United.

Arteta hints system change
Sports Brief reported that Arteta hinted at a system change this season to keep opponents guessing and make the team unpredictable as they bid to challenge for the title again.
The former Manchester City assistant boss claimed this would be made possible by the additions of versatile players Havertz and Declan Rice to the team this summer.
So far, this hasn't worked, as both players have yet to settle into the team properly.
